According to The Gothamist, a transgendered woman was denied entry into the womens' fitting room at Loehmann's.
I thought that New York, as a city, sorted out this nonsense two months ago.
Both my mother and I have fairly startling scars on or torsos. Should we not use communal fitting rooms? She had a double mastectomy, should she use the mens' fitting rooms? (Seeing as she doesn't have secondary sex characteristics anymore, that is...)
This kind of bad management in an area of the city known for being LGBT-friendly is pretty dumb.
