A Z-100 "phone tap" skit.
A college-age girl from a religious Jewish family calls her parents to tell them that she's started dating an Italian classmate. Her parents just about shit themselves at the news.
In three minutes of radio, we have a delicious meal of raging bigotry.
I'd call in some sexism as well, but I have a feeling these parents would have a similarly ridiculous reaction even if it was a son bringing home an Italian girlfriend.
It's funny, in a trainwreck sort of way. But really unfunny in the "What century is this?" sort of way.
